How did we meet?

A) In 1985, while in elementary school, a dorky skinny boy moved into to the neighborhood and went to Tracy’s school. Tracy met Nate on the playground that May. Nate was always being picked on, and in a moment of pity, Tracy asked him to play 4-square, when nobody else would let him play. They became friends, and although Nate made constant efforts to try to take the relationship further, it wasn’t until they went to separate colleges that Tracy knew what she was missing. In the summer of 1997, while in their home town, on break from college, their love finally blossomed. Nate switched to her college and they have been inseparable ever since.

B) After a long semester at Harvard Law School, in the summer of 2004, Nate went on safari in Africa. While in the grass lands of Kenya, Nate’s caravan came upon another tour group that was being attacked by a pack of hungry lions. Rushing in to save them, Nate rescued a young blonde woman from the mouth of the lion pride matriarch. It turned out that woman was Tracy—a young astrophysicist working on a new theory of antimatter fusion at the Fermi Lab in Illinois. Although smitten with her charm and beauty, Tracy was a Yalie, so Nate refused to have anything to do with her—at first. Their two tour groups stuck together after that and eventually, throughout the 3-month long vacation, Tracy won Nate over and they have been inseparable ever since.

C) In 1996 Maia Harrison, a Scottish citizen, was working as a CIA operative on a covert operation to Paris. Her mission was to spy on a young German by the name of Wolfgang Werner, who was suspected of selling western military secrets to red spies. After finding her mark, her orders were to terminate the western traitor. While attempting to get closer to her enemy, in hopes of finding an opportune way to terminate him, Maia inadvertently fell in love with Wolfgang at the top of the Eiffel Tower. Having won her over, Wolfgang begged for his life and in return, promised to share all of his secrets and contacts with the CIA. Maia’s superiors agreed to his offer. Maia and Wolfgang are now living out their lives in the witness protection program as Tracy and Nate and they have been inseparable ever since.

D) In a typical cold Wisconsin January, in 2001, while out as his regular Tuesday night bar (The Regent Street Retreat) for a Pat McCurdy show, Nate noticed two spikey haired women, one blonde, one brunette. Slightly inebriated, while passing the brunette in the bar, Nate realized that he had never met ladies with spikey hair, and wanted to cop a feel of that hair, so he did. When the blonde found out, she decided she wasn’t going to let him get away with giving the attention to the brunette. So, the blonde, er… ah…Tracy made the first move and struck up a conversation with Nate. After a couple weeks of running into each other, every Tuesday, they ran into each other at the same bar on a Saturday, and decided maybe they should go on a date. Although complete opposites, they hit it off. They not only fell in love but became best friends and they have been inseparable ever since.
